There is downward shift in exports of Tashkent region compared to last year, particularly Yangiyul district, Bekobad and Chirchik cities in textile production, Zangiota and Yukorichirchik  in electrical engineering products, and Almalyk in production of building materials.

On August 1, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev acquainted with a presentation on measures to increase mineral reserves and volume of production.

Earlier, social media reported that Uzbeks involved in the construction of Mariupol had their passports confiscated and later were mobilised as "volunteers" for the war. So far, the Uzbek side has not reacted in any way.
