Address by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the Fourth Tashkent International Investment Forum

On May 27, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Catherine Russell, Executive Director of the United Nations Childrenʼs Fund (UNICEF), who is currently on an official visit to Uzbekistan.

On April 21, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation on improving the quality of school education and advancing the teacher training system.

For the first time, the historic city of Samarkand will host the high-level UN Public Service Forum — 2025 under the theme “Five Years to 2030: Accelerating Public Service Delivery for a Sustainable Future.”

At the meeting, this draft resolution was approved and adopted by the deputies.

On October 15, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC) to review its activities and explore new investment projects.

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the construction of wind power plants and industrial enterprises has begun, and new shopping complexes have been launched. At the ceremony held in this regard, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev spoke about the economic development of Karakalpakstan.

On August 17, Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov visited Kabul. During the visit, bilateral meetings were held, and several issues were discussed.

Construction of large energy and transport complexes started in the Bukhara region. 

Following the talks, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed a Joint Statement.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Cinema Palace. 

On May 2, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev participated in the plenary meeting of the Third Tashkent International Investment Forum at the Congress Center in Tashkent.

On February 22, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed the presentation on plans to revolutionize state-owned enterprises within Uzbekistan's aviation sector. 

On 22 January, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the presentation of proposals to accelerate reforms in the healthcare sector.

On December 20, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Ministry of Digital Technologies.

On 19 December, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part in the ceremony of presenting the International Anti-Corruption Excellence Award, at the Tashkent Congress Centre.
