Uzbekistan establishes diplomatic relations with Djibouti
On May 2, Uzbekistan and Djibouti signed a Joint Communiqué on establishing diplomatic relations.
The Permanent Representative of Uzbekistan to the UN, Ulugbek Lapasov, and his counterpart from the Republic of Djibouti, Mohamed Slad Doulaeh, signed the document on behalf of their respective governments.
This East African country becomes the 149th nation to establish diplomatic relations with Uzbekistan.
