Saida Mirziyoyeva appointed head of the presidential administration

By presidential decree, a new position — Head of the Presidential Administration — has been established within the structure of the administration. The announcement was made by the presidential press service.

According to the decree, Saida Shavkatovna Mirziyoyeva has been appointed to this newly created position. She had been serving as Assistant to the President since 25 August 2023.

Saida Mirziyoyeva was born in 1984 in Kokand, Fergana region. She is a graduate of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, holds a masterʼs degrees from Tashkent State University of Law and Lomonosov Moscow State University, and has a PhD in Economics.

Between 2019 and 2020, she worked as Deputy Director of the Agency for Information and Mass Communications under the Presidential Administration. From 2020 to 2022, she served as deputy head of the board of Trustees of the Public Foundation for Support and Development of National Mass Media.

In November 2022, she was appointed head of the Communications and Information Policy Department in the Executive Office of the Presidential Administration.

In August 2023, Saida Mirziyoyeva was appointed as Assistant to the President. This appointment coincided with the elimination of the Head of Administration position at that time.

The Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan was established on 26 August 2018. It was previously headed by Zainilobiddin Nizomiddinov (2018–2022) and Sardor Umurzakov (2022–2023).
