A delegation from the Yozyovon district administration returned from a working visit to the People’s Republic of China, where a series of agreements was reached on attracting foreign investment and implementing promising industrial projects.

During negotiations held in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, the parties agreed to launch a modern bus assembly plant in Yozyovon district. “The project, valued at $160 million, will be implemented in cooperation with China’s Shaanxi Qinxing Automobile company,” said Bakhtiyor Ibrohimzoda, Deputy Khokim of Yozyovon district.

The new - generation buses will be produced in line with international standards and are designed to operate reliably in a wide range of climatic conditions, including extreme heat and cold. The power system will feature temperature control and protection for adverse weather conditions, while all electronic systems will be adapted to withstand both high and low temperatures.

Thebuses will also be equipped with GPS positioning systems and high-quality internet access. An online passenger tracking system integrated with dispatch services will enable remote monitoring and data management using modern technologies.

The project is expected to mark a new stage in the development of the automotive industry in the Yozyovon district and support its systematic growth.

This year, the district plans to implement new industrial projects worth $43.4 million. To this end, a small industrial zone covering 24.7 hectares has been established.

Practical work has already begun in the industrial zone on three projects totaling $30 million — the production of fish feed, the construction of a metal processing plant, and the establishment of an electric cable manufacturing facility.

In the future, a hotel, as well as logistics and trade complexes, are also planned for construction within the industrial zone.
