President Shavkat Mirziyoyev meets with Executive Chairman of Institute for Global Change

On April 10, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, received the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Executive Chairman of the Institute for Global Change, Tony Blair.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the development of practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and this internationally recognized institution.
Tony Blair commended the scale and progress of the ongoing reforms aimed at building the New Uzbekistan. He expressed readiness to provide expert and advisory support to advance these initiatives further.
The discussions also covered key areas of prospective cooperation, including attracting major strategic investors to sectors of the national economy, accelerating technological modernization, advancing digitalization, and promoting the introduction of artificial intelligence. The implementation of joint programs and projects in priority areas was identified as another important direction for collaboration.
It should be noted that the Institute for Global Change, established by Tony Blair in 2016, is an international non-profit organization. The Institute supports countries worldwide in developing new models of sustainable and innovative development as well as in addressing climate change and other global challenges.
