President of Uzbekistan awarded the Legion of Honor
During his visit to Paris, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was awarded Franceʼs highest national distinction—the Legion of Honor.
The prestigious award was solemnly presented to the head of our state by French President Emmanuel Macron.
The President of Uzbekistan was honored with this award for his significant contribution to developing cooperation between the two countries and for strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between our nations.
Expressing gratitude for the honor, President Mirziyoyev highlighted the remarkable progress achieved in recent years through productive collaboration, noting that Uzbekistan-France relations have now reached the level of strategic partnership.
Established in 1802, the Legion of Honor is Franceʼs most distinguished award, symbolizing national recognition of exceptional service and achievement.
