The political council of the UzLiDeP supported the nomination of Shavkat Mirziyoyev's candicacy  for presidency. The decision was made at a regular political council meeting.

Participation of the UzLiDeP in the early presidential elections and the candidate to be nominated by the party at the upcoming party congress were discussed in the meeting.

Members of the UzLiDep Political Council unanimously supported the inclusion of Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev's candidacy for the post of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the discussion of the next party congress.

Thus, four political parties in the country, except for Milliy Tiklanish, have already selected candidates for the upcoming presidential elections.

The Ecological Party of Uzbekistan promoted the candidacy of party leader Abdushukur Hamzayev and the People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan nominated its leader Ulugbek Inoyatov as its presidential candidate. The Social Democratic Party Adolat  approved Robakhon Anvarovna Makhmudova's candidacy for consideration at the forthcoming nomination congress.
