Daily increase in the permanent population of Uzbekistan reported
It was announced that the permanent population in Uzbekistan is increasing by an average of 1.8 thousand people every day.
According to data from the Statistics Agency, the permanent population of the republic was 37.1342 million people as of July 1, 2024. This number increased by 2.1 percent compared to the same period last year.
The population of Uzbekistan has increased by an average of 55.7 thousand people each month in 2024. The permanent population has increased by an average of 1.8 thousand people daily in 2024.
Approximately 18.696 million are men, and 18.437 million are women. The urban population of the country is 18.9 million people, while the rural population is 18.2 million people.
According to the agency, the average age of the population is 28.5 years. For comparison, in 2014, the average age of the population was 27.3 years.
