Uzbek citizen seriously ill in Poland repatriated
An Uzbek citizen who fell seriously ill in Poland has been repatriated to Uzbekistan, the Dunyo Information Agency reported.
According to the report, during a regular consular reception held by the Embassy of Uzbekistan, citizen R.M., who was born in the Samarkand region, explained that she had arrived in Poland in April 2023 on a work visa to undertake temporary employment.
It was reported that she later developed a serious illness and had been undergoing treatment at a medical facility in Poland. In this regard, R.M. requested practical assistance in returning to Uzbekistan and arranging further treatment.
Taking the citizen’s request into account, practical measures were taken in cooperation with the Migration Agency. In particular, an airline ticket for her return home was purchased, and she was provided with temporary accommodation until her departure.
R.M. returned to Uzbekistan yesterday, March 11, on a Warsaw –Tashkent flight.
