Chinese company to open education and vocational training center in Uzbekistan

A Chinese company is set to establish an education and vocational training center in Uzbekistan, Dunyo news agency reports.
According to the report, Uzbekistanʼs Consulate General facilitated an online meeting between the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, the Migration Agency, and Wu Tinyi, Chairman of Chinaʼs JC Finance Interconnect Holdings.
The meeting focused on developing retraining and professional development programs for specialists in key sectors such as green energy, agriculture, information and communication technology (ICT), and tourism, in line with international standards.
The parties also explored opportunities for Uzbek students to receive grants and scholarships at Chinaʼs leading universities. At the conclusion of the meeting, an agreement was reached to arrange a visit by JC Finance Interconnect Holdings representatives to Uzbekistan.
“The upcoming visit will include meetings with relevant ministries and agencies to finalize plans for a center dedicated to educational and professional training services for Uzbek citizens,“ the report stated.
