Andijan’s tourism opportunities showcased in Malaysia

An international tourism forum was held in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. Craftsmen from Andijan presented an exhibition of their unique products, created with delicate handcraftsmanship, which drew considerable interest from foreign participants.
During the event, representatives of the Andijan region provided detailed information on existing opportunities in the tourism sector, highlighting various destinations and services. The harmony of ancient history, beautiful nature, and national traditions vividly demonstrated the richness of Andijan’s tourism potential. The forum also featured performances of national dances and songs, showcasing Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage and reflecting the country’s hospitality and high spiritual values.
“Although I have worked in the tourism sector for more than ten years, I realized I did not have enough knowledge about Uzbekistan,” said forum participant Fatin binti Karim. “From the exhibition organized by the people of Andijan and the performances of their artists, I learned that this land has a rich cultural and educational history. Therefore, I plan to actively contribute to the development of tourism ties between Uzbekistan and Malaysia in the future.”
Undoubtedly, participation in such international events helps to widely promote the region’s tourism potential, strengthen foreign cooperation, and further elevate the tourism sector.
