President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the ADM Jizzakh automobile plant.
ADM Jizzakh LLC is among the enterprises operating effectively within the Jizzakh Free Economic Zone. Since its establishment in 2021, a total of 36,000 cars spanning 23 different models under the brands of "Kia," "Chery," and "Haval" have been manufactured within the past three years.

Within the project scope, a substantial sum of $234 million was invested, facilitating the creation of 1, 800 job opportunities.

During the initial phase, a large-scale assembly production line was established. Simultaneously, the plant underwent expansion, with new buildings and facilities being put into operation in March of this year. As a result, high-tech production has been organized, encompassing processes such as stamping, welding, painting, and assembly.
The Head of state closely examined the production process at the plant.
The plant is equipped with high-tech equipment supplied from South Korea, Japan, and Germany. The factory utilizes 30 robots contributing to a 33 percent automation level in its production processes. Furthermore, tools for checking the serviceability of the vehicle chassis and testing both static and dynamic brake systems have been installed. 
The President instructed on increasing localization and enhancing cooperation with the country’s industrial enterprises.
Steps have already been taken in this regard, with plans to localize 348 types of components between 2024 and 2027. At the moment, cooperative ties have been established with 21 enterprises in the country.
Overall, the enterprise aims to establish a production capacity of 100,000 cars annually. Consequently, there are plans to expand the workforce to 3,000 employees.
Qualified specialists from South Korea, India, China, and Vietnam were involved in enhancing the quality of cars. Starting this year, the first group of 50 engineers will be sent to research and design centers in South Korea and China for advanced training.
During the visit, the Head of state got acquainted with the new Kia Sonet, the production of which began at the plant.
