Number of Super League players valued at over €1 million rises to eight
On 4 December, Transfermarkt - a portal that tracks footballers’ transfer values - released updated market prices for players competing in the Uzbekistan Super League.
According to the update, the number of Super League players valued at more than €1 million has now reached eight. Previously, the portal had assessed players such as Abduvokhid Nematov (FC Nasaf), Khojimat Erkinov (FC Pakhtakor), Sherzod Nasrullaev (FC Nasaf), Ljupco Doriev (FC Sogdiana), Igor Sergeev (FC Pakhtakor), Khurshid Giyosov (FC OKMK), and Jamshid Iskanderov (FC Neftchi) at figures exceeding €1 million.
They have now been joined by Pakhtakor defender Khojiakbar Alidjonov. Following the December update, Alidjonov - whose value had stood at €800,000 - has been revalued at €1.2 million.
Alidjonov also leads the list of players whose market value increased the most. His price rose by €400,000 over the past year. Sordorbek Bakhromov, who began the year in Nasaf’s reserve team and ended it with a call-up to the Uzbekistan national team, ranked second. The midfielder’s value grew by €350,000 within a year.
Next on the list are Igor Sergeev, Khusayin Norchaev, Mukhammadrasul Abdumadjidov, Jaloliddin Jumaboyev, and Bekhruz Karimov. After the latest update, each of these players saw a €200,000 increase in their Transfermarkt valuation.
