Italy appoints new Ambassador to Uzbekistan
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, officially received copies of the credentials from Gvido De Sanktis, the newly appointed Ambassador of Italy to Uzbekistan. The announcement was made by the foreign minister on his Telegram channel.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, with particular attention paid to expanding trade, investment, and broader economic ties.
They also emphasized the importance of further developing practical cooperation and encouraging contacts between business communities.
“Wish Mr. Ambassador every success and productive tenure in our country,” Saidov wrote.
