22 Uzbek universities included in Asia’s best universities ranking
On 4 November, the prestigious QS Quacquarelli Symonds agency released its QS Asia University Rankings 2026, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan reported.
The newly published list of Asia’s top universities includes 22 higher education institutions from Uzbekistan. Notably, eight of them improved their positions compared to last year’s results.
The ranking evaluates universities based on academic reputation, international recognition, graduate employability, quality of the educational process, and international collaboration.
Overall, the 2026 ranking assessed over 1,500 universities from 25 countries and territories across Asia, including 557institutions appearing on the list for the first time.
