Ten electric trains linking Bekabad, Khojakent and Angren with the capital city will be launched from 2024.

Candidate for presidency Shavkat Mirziyoyev said about it at the meeting with voters from Tashkent region.

"Today, four electric trains that were brought 30-40 years ago are running in Tashkent region.

Therefore, electric trains will be completely modernised in order to create good transport conditions and improve the quality of services provided to our people.

Particularly, from 2024 ten electric trains connecting Bekobad, Khojakent and Angren with the capital will be launched." said the candidate.
