Uzbekistan's first ambassador to Slovenia appointed
Oybek Shakhavdinov was appointed as Uzbekistan’s first ambassador to Slovenia. The press service of the Uzbek embassy in Hungary reported this.
On October 24, in Ljubljana, Shakhavdinov presented copies of his credentials to Nataša Prah, Head of Diplomatic Protocol at the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.
The prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Slovenia were discussed during the meeting.
For reference, Shakhavdinov was appointed as Uzbekistan’s first ambassador to Hungary in March of this year, with his residence in Budapest. On October 23, he was appointed Uzbekistan’s first ambassador to Croatia.
