Uzbekistan exported more than 79.3 thousand tons of melons
According to state of September 1, more than 79.3 thousand tons of melon and water melons which worth by 24.4 million US dollars were exported to abroad. This year, Uzbekistan has sold melons to 18 countries.
As the state statistics committee reports, Kazakhstan leads in the export of melons with 39.9 thousand tons. In the next places there are the Russian Federation (16.2 thousand tons) and the Kyrgyz Republic (14.6 thousand tons).
In fact, Jizzakh region is leader in the export of melons with 7.6 thousand tons and Kashkadarya region with 7.2 thousand tons of watermelons.
