Uzbekistan: Cases of human trafficking have decreased six times
Nargiza Khodjiboeva, responsible head of the Investigation Department of Interior Ministry, provided information on human trafficking.
“According to the analysis, in 2020, the number of crimes related to human trafficking decreased six times compared to 2012.
It is noted that if 574 crimes related to human trafficking were recorded in 2012, then in 2019 dropped to 94, and in 2020 to 74.” – Khodjiboyeva said.
