Turkish specialists begin free treatment for children with severe illnesses in Bukhara
At the Bukhara Regional Multidisciplinary Children’s Medical Center, Turkish doctors have begun carrying out complex surgical operations to treat severe, urgent conditions in children. This charitable initiative is being implemented by the Children's Support Public Fund, which is dedicated to identifying vulnerable children in need of social protection and providing them with targeted assistance.
“In September of this year, as part of the ‘Healthy Future’ campaign, a group of Turkish doctors visited Bukhara and examined more than 300 boys and girls,” said Mansur Ochilov, Deputy Chief Physician of the center. “During this process, it was determined that 35 children required high-technology surgical intervention. Currently, Turkish specialists, working together with our center’s doctors, are doing their utmost to ensure these children recover and return to their families.”
These surgical operations primarily involve orthopedics, general surgery, maxillofacial surgery, and plastic surgery, and they are being performed free of charge. Such cooperation is also helping to improve the professional skills of local doctors.
