Sadriddin Hasanov named among the world’s most talented young footballers
Uzbekistan’s young footballer and U-17 national team member Sadriddin Hasanov has been listed among the 60 most promising young players in the world, according to The Guardian. The ranking features the best footballers born in 2008.
The publication notes that FC Bunyodkor striker Hasanov has attracted interest from several Turkish clubs. Should the 17-year-old win the Asian Football Confederation’s Young Player of the Year award, his transfer market value is expected to rise sharply.
“Hasanov likes to cut in sharply from the left flank into the center. He is quick, physically strong, and eager to score goals. He also stands out for his winning mentality,” the article says.
The Guardian also highlighted Uzbekistan’s victory in the AFC U-17Asian Cup final against Saudi Arabia, where the team triumphed 2–0 despite finishing with only nine players. Hasanov’s leadership in that match received special attention.
“He inspired his team to a 2–0 victory and scored a goal himself. With a total of four goals, he was named the best player of the tournament,” The Guardian wrote.
