President of Uzbekistan notes the Dynamic Development of Manually beneficial Cooperation with Qatar

On April 15, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation from Qatar, led by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdurrahman Al Thani.
The Qatari delegation is in Uzbekistan to participate in the upcoming meeting of foreign ministers from the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and the countries of Central Asia.
Prime Minister Mohammed Al Thani conveyed greetings from Qatar's Emir, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to the leader of Uzbekistan.
The topical issues regarding the further expansion of bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade, economy, investment, and transport communication, were discussed.
The Head of our state expressed satisfaction regarding the intensive political dialogue and the dynamic growth of mutual trade and investments.
Large investment projects involving leading companies from Qatar are currently underway. Additionally, cultural and humanitarian events are taking place, with plans for Qatar Culture Week to be held in Uzbekistan in October.
The importance of promoting joint investment projects and promptly creating effective mechanisms for their financial support was emphasized.
The discussion focused on accelerating the implementation of the Trans-Afghan railway construction project.
Sides exchanged views on regional issues, including the serious escalation of the situation in the Middle East.
