Permanent population of Uzbekistan reaches 34.5m people
The permanent population of the Republic of Uzbekistan as of 1 January 2021 made up 34.5 million people, according to the Uzbek State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.
The population has increased by 653.7 thousand people compared to the same period last year.
The permanent population growth rate is 101.9%.
The population of Uzbekistan has increased by an average of 54.5 thousand people every month.
The permanent population increased by an average of 1.8 thousand people every day in 2020.
