Officials of Uzbekistanʼs Ministry of Foreign Affairs hold meetings with the Ambassadors of Israel and Iran
On June 17, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhromjon Aloyev, held meetings with the Ambassadors of Israel and Iran. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry.
According to the statement, the discussions with both ambassadors focused on regional issues, including the peaceful resolution of the situation in the Middle East.
During the meeting with the Iranian Ambassador, the two sides discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in a number of areas, including politics, trade and economics, transport and logistics, culture and humanitarian affairs, and the tourism sector.
In the meeting with the Israeli Ambassador, the parties reviewed the current state of Uzbekistan-Israel relations and identified priority areas for further development. They also discussed cooperation within the framework of the United Nations and other international organizations.
