New videos on al-Farghani,al-Khwarizmi, and Ibn Sina broadcast on Euronews and CNN

New video features dedicated to al-Farghani, al-Khwarizmi, and Ibn Sina have aired on leading international television channels Euronews and CNN. The videos were produced as part of the Echo of Enlightenment film series and feature Academy Award-winning British actor Sir Ben Kingsley.

The videos are a key component of a large-scale media project initiated by the Center forIslamic Civilization in Uzbekistan. Through modern and compelling visual storytelling, the project presents the legacy of prominent thinkers and scholars of the Eastern Renaissance to a global audience. The productions aim to introduce international viewers to the traditions of science, intellectual thought, and spirituality that flourished within Islamic civilization.

Sir Ben Kingsley participates in the project as a narrator, highlighting the lives, scholarly heritage, and invaluable contributions to world civilization of such historical figures as al-Khwarizmi, al-Biruni, Ibn Sina, Mirzo Ulugbek, Alisher Navoi, and Amir Temur.

As part of the Echo of Enlightenment project, plans are in place to produce more than ten short documentary films focusing on the lives of scholars who played asignificant role in the development of history, culture, and science. These films are specifically designed for international audiences and will be broadcast through leading global media platforms.

The project is being implemented within the framework of an initiative by President of theRepublic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. It aims to promote the country’s rich scientific and spiritual heritage, strengthen international cultural dialogue, and present Uzbekistan as a cradle of ancient civilizations and aglobal center of science and enlightenment.
