Last Chevrolet Lacetti rolled off the assembly line
The final unit of Chevrolet Lacetti was produced at the plant in Asaka, as reported by the press service of UzAvto Motors JSC.
This marks the end of the Lacetti (Gentra) model in the company’s history, concluding a production run of 487,104 cars at the plant.
Production of the Chevrolet Lacetti began in 2013.
Initially, over 11,000 cars were produced annually, but in 2023, this figure reached almost 90,000.
The plant planned to cease production of this model in January 2024. However, due to the availability of components and spare parts, production continued for several more months.
