Every third person who commits a crime is a youngster
It was noted at the meeting that every third criminal is a young people. Sherzod Asadov, press secretary of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, informed about this.
Theft and fraud constitute 32% of crimes committed by young people.
The greatest number of crimes from this category was recorded in the city of Tashkent and Fergana region.
Every seventh crime committed by youth was done as a group and 1,100 youth committed crimes repeatedly.
"Note that the majority of youth crime is committed by unsupervised minors.
The saddest thing is that among minors there are those who have committed serious crimes," the head of state said.
In this regard, the worst situation in the region and the republic was noted in the city of Kokan.
