65 children died after taking cough syrup "Dok - 1 Maks"

The public trial of the criminal case related to cough syrup "Dok - 1 Maks", which killed 65 children in Uzbekistan, is scheduled to begin on August 11 this year at 10:00 a.m. The Supreme Court informed about it.
The Tashkent City Court received a criminal case against S. R. P. (male, born in 1972 in the Republic of India, director of Quramax Medikal LLC), S. K. (male, born in 1982 in Tashkent, worked as director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, and also as director of agency's branch - the State Centre for Expertise and Standardisation of Medicines, Medical Devices and Medical Equipment SUE) and others (21 people in total from Quramax Medikal LLC and Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency SUE). The first public hearing in the case is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on 11 August.
Concerning defendants, they are 16 men and five women. Of these, seven were remanded in custody, 12 were asked to write receipt of good conduct, and two were released on bail.
All of them are accused of committing crime under articles 184, 28, 186-3, 186-3, 25, 205, 205, 205, 207, 28, 209, 209, 210, 211, 212, 228 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
According to the approved indictment, 65 children died as a result of the committed crime.
