As of July 1, 2020, the population of Uzbekistan is 34 million. 191.7 thousand people, an increase of 286.5 thousand people since the beginning of the year.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the population is estimated at 17 million. 195.9 thousand were men and 16 mln. 995.8 thousand people were women.
Of the total population, 17,301.0 thousand live in urban areas and 16,890.7 thousand in rural areas.
During 6 months, 75.5 thousand marriages were registered and 12.8 thousand divorces were observed.
