Famous Indian film star Hema Malini to participate in the Tashkent International Film Festival

Famous Indian film star Hema Malini and renowned film director Umesh Mehra will take part in the XVI Tashkent International Film Festival ʼPearl of the Silk Roadʼ.
“Dear friends and the people of Uzbekistan, I am deeply grateful for the invitation to the international film festival, and I eagerly look forward to the upcoming meetings in Tashkent,” said Hema Malini in her video message to Uzbek film enthusiasts.
Film actress, producer, director, dancer, and politician Hema Malini is widely known for her roles in films such as Zita and Geeta, Revenge and the Law, Samrat, and others. Her fame reached new heights following the release of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.
One of her more recent films, Veer-Zaara, was met with great enthusiasm by audiences.
The XVI Tashkent International Film Festival is scheduled to take place from September 15 to 19 this year.
