Uzbekistan’s 2026 World Cup group-stage schedule announced
The draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup was held on 5 December. According to the results, the Uzbekistan national team has been placed in a group with Portugal, Colombia, and the winner of the international play-off.
The Uzbekistan Football Association has published the dates of the “White Wolves’' matches at the tournament on its official page.
According to the announcement, Fabio Cannavaro’s side will open their World Cup campaign on 17 June with a match against Colombia. The meeting with Portugal - a team boasting a star-studded lineup - will take place on 23 June. If Cristiano Ronaldo participates in the tournament, that would be the date on which he could take the field against Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan’s final group-stage match is scheduled for 27 June against the international play-off winner.
For reference, the 2026 World Cup will kick off on 11 June.
