Uzbek youth break Guinness World Record
On 18 August, a new Guinness World Record was set at the “New Uzbekistan” park in Tashkent, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation has reported.
A total of 1,946 young engineers simultaneously assembled 1,946 small robots, earning a place in the Guinness World Records.
Approximately 2,000 young engineers participated in the event. Of these, 1,000 came from higher education institutions across the regions, 930 from universities in Tashkent, 50 from schools under the Presidential Education Agency, and 20 were young people with disabilities. Within 25 minutes, they successfully assembled and activated their mini-robots.
“This event not only showcased the scientific and technical potential of young people, but also vividly demonstrated their curiosity, teamwork, and drive for innovation,” the statement said.
It is worth noting that the previous record was set in India on 23 January 2023, when 1,459 students from grades 6 to 10 assembled mini-robots simultaneously.
