Trump: Uzbekistan to invest over $100 billion in the U.S.
Over the next 10 years, Uzbekistan will invest more than $100 billion in key sectors of the United States and make major purchases. U.S. President Donald Trump announced this on his Truth Social page.
“I am thrilled to announce an incredible Trade and Economic Deal between the United States and Uzbekistan. Over the next three years, Uzbekistan will be purchasing and investing almost $35 billion in key American sectors — including critical minerals, aviation, automotive parts, infrastructure, agriculture, energy and chemicals, information technology, and other important industries. In the next ten years, the total investment and purchases will exceed $100 billion,” Trump wrote.
The U.S. President also expressed gratitude to Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, noting that he looks forward to long-term and productive relations between the two countries.
Earlier, it was reported that a number of agreements had been signed between Uzbekistan and the United States on trade and economic cooperation.
