Three unattended children in Turkey repatriated to Uzbekistan
Three minors who had lost parental custody in Istanbul, Turkey, for various reasons were repatriated to Tashkent on October 2.
According to Uzbekistan's Consulate General in Istanbul, the relatives of two girls (aged 16 and 6) and one boy (aged 11) reached out for assistance.
In response to the appeal, three children were successfully repatriated to Uzbekistan under the supervision of authorized personnel. The operation was carried out through coordinated efforts between the Consulate General in Istanbul and Uzbekistan's Ministries of Internal Affairs and Health.
Parents are advised not to leave their minor children unattended in foreign countries, while concerned citizens are encouraged to promptly inform Uzbekistan’s diplomatic missions about any unattended children abroad.
