Tashkent public transport fare to increase from January 2025

From January 1, 2025, the fare for public transport in Tashkent (buses and metro) will be set at 3,000 UZS per trip. The decision was outlined in a resolution issued by the Tashkent City Administration.
For passengers using the electronic payment system, the fare will remain unchanged at the current rate of 1,700 UZS.
The resolution also mandates the elimination of cash payments on buses across Tashkent.
Passengers who wish to pay in cash must purchase a single-use ticket priced at 3,000 UZS through payment terminals such as Paynet, MultiPay, and Oson kiosks installed at bus stops and nearby locations in Tashkent.
Transfer discounts will be exclusively available to ATTO transport card users. Cardholders will be eligible for free rides on their third and fourth bus trips within one hour.
In addition, new multi-use fare plans valid for 2, 5, and 7 days will be introduced.
