Shavkat Mirziyoyev re-elected as President of Uzbekistan
The Central Election Commission announced the preliminary results of the presidential election held on July 9.
According to the Central Election Commission, Shavkat Mirziyoyev received more than 87 percent of the votes and was re-elected to the post of President.
Shavkat Mirziyoev (Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan) 87.05 percent (13,625,055 votes)
Ulugbek Inoyatov (People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan) 4.2 percent (629,116 votes)
Robakhon Makhmudova (Adolat Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan) 4.43 percent (693,634 votes)
Abdushukur Hamzaev (Ecological Party of Uzbekistan) 3.74 percent (585,711 votes).
15.6 million people, which is 79.88 percent of the voters, took part in the presidential election.
