Seven Uzbek boxers will go to Tokyo 2020 tournaments
The Tokyo 2020 Tournament for Boxing Asia / Oceania has ended in Amman city, Jordan. On the last day of the tournament, one of the leaders of our national team Bakhodir Jalolov (+91 kg) took part in the last fight not only of our boxers but also of the tournament. As the result of tournament, Jalalov was able to win the match against Australia’s Justice Hyuni with a powerful shot, which gave the team a beautiful finish.
Consequently, through the license tournament in Jordan, our national team won seven licenses for the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, as well as 3 golden and 3 bronze medals and won the first place in the men’s team event. List of boxers of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games:
