Saida Mirziyoyeva visits Karakalpakstan districts with challenging socio-economic conditions
During a meeting held on August 19 of this year, led by the President, focused on the socio-economic development of Karakalpakstan, concerns were raised over the region's leadership. It was noted that the local authorities lacked initiative in ensuring the population's satisfaction, improving their lives, and upholding human dignity. Additionally, district governors were criticized for their irresponsible approach to addressing these issues.

To maximize Karakalpakstan's potential and ensure timely and effective implementation of regional development tasks, oversight was entrusted to the President's Assistant, Saida Mirziyoyeva, and the President's Advisor on Sustainable Development for the Aral Sea Region, Tursinkhon Khudaybergenov.

Saida Mirziyoyeva visited districts with difficult socio-economic conditions in the Republic of Karakalpakstan to monitor the implementation of these directives and assess the situation on the ground.
"Yesterday, we visited districts in the Republic of Karakalpakstan with difficult socio-economic conditions and studied the situation on-site.

We face extensive work ahead to create better living conditions for the population living in these areas and to enhance their quality of life," said Saida Mirziyoyeva.
