Monument symbolizing the fight against corruption opened in Tashkent
On December 19, the International Business Centre “Tashkent city” hosted the opening ceremony of the monument representing the efforts of the international community to fight against corruption.
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani took part in the ceremony.
Assistant Secretary General of the UN Alexander Zuev and officials from foreign countries also attended the event.
This twelve-meter metal composition of an open hand symbolizes honesty, pure deeds and intentions, zero tolerance for corruption, and a call to all countries of the world to unite in the fight against it.
