Kholmumin Yodgorov re-elected as Chairman of Uzbekistan’s Supreme Judicial Council
On 11 August this year, a session of the Senate Council of the Oliy Majlis was held under the chairmanship of Tanzila Narbayeva.
The session focused on the election of the Chair of the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Following a recommendation from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Senate Council adopted a resolution appointing Kholmumin Yodgorov as the Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, detailed information was presented on measures implemented by the Council over the past five years to strengthen the authority and effectiveness of the judiciary.
It was noted that the reforms introduced during this period have elevated the quality of judicial operations to a new level and further strengthened public trust in the justice system.
Senators also shared their proposals and recommendations on further improving the judiciary’s performance.
