Caution advised for travelers heading to Saudi Arabia
The General Directorate of Saudi Civil Defense has urged citizens and foreign visitors to exercise caution during thunderstorms and strong winds. Information Agency Dunyo reported about.
In recent days, heavy rain and winds have been observed in some regions of Saudi Arabia, including Mecca and Medina.
At present, the National Meteorological Center of Saudi Arabia and the General Directorate of Civil Defense have announced that the alert level has been raised to red due to heavy rainfall in the city of Medina and its surrounding areas.
It has been noted that this weather condition could continue until the first ten days of September.
In this regard, the General Directorate of Civil Defense urges citizens and foreign visitors to remain cautious during thunderstorms and strong winds.
Due to the storm, classes in schools, colleges, and universities in the Kingdom will be held online.
