The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilhom Aliev held a meeting in a narrow format in  Zagulba residence.

In accordance with the relevant Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the position of the  Presidential Administration chief was terminated and a number of changes were made to the structure of the Presidential Administration.

Within the framework of the nationwide project " Yashil Makon " (Green Space), a large-scale program has been adopted to increase the level of greening in all regions up to 30%. For this purpose it was planned:

On August 8, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met a delegation of Turkish company Cengiz Holding headed by Chairman of the Board Mehmet Cengiz.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev participated in a tripartite summit chaired by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhammedov, with the participation of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on August 4.

Topical issues on the  bilateral agenda were discussed.

They also exchanged views comprehensively on the regional agenda.

There is downward shift in exports of Tashkent region compared to last year, particularly Yangiyul district, Bekobad and Chirchik cities in textile production, Zangiota and Yukorichirchik  in electrical engineering products, and Almalyk in production of building materials.

On August 1, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev acquainted with a presentation on measures to increase mineral reserves and volume of production.

Earlier, social media reported that Uzbeks involved in the construction of Mariupol had their passports confiscated and later were mobilised as "volunteers" for the war. So far, the Uzbek side has not reacted in any way.
