All social assistance provided to the population to be financed through Social Card from October 1

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev chaired a meeting to discuss priority tasks in the sphere of social protection. The press secretary of President Sherzod Asadov reported this.

As stated, all social assistance provided to the population will be funded through Social Card from October 1.

Initially, funds for the social protection registers "Sahovat va komak" ("Generosity and Support"), "Ayollar" ("Women"), "Yoshlar" ("Youth"), and later 74 types of social benefits and allowances will be gradually transferred to the Social Card.

Additionally, cardholders will be able to enjoy benefits and discounts in the transport and utility sectors.
