Official welcoming ceremony for the President of Uzbekistan takes place in Kuala Lumpur
On February 5, a formal welcoming ceremony for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, was held at the Perdana Putra government complex in Kuala Lumpur.
Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim personally welcomed the Uzbek leader.
The ceremony featured an honor guard in recognition of President Mirziyoyev, with the national anthems of both nations played.
The Uzbek president reviewed the honor guard before joining Prime Minister Ibrahim to greet members of their respective official delegations and representatives of the diplomatic corps.
Following the ceremony, the two leaders participated in a formal photo session before proceeding to high-level talks.
