The permanent population of Uzbekistan reaches 38 million

Uzbekistan’s permanent population has reached 38 million, the National Statistics Committee reported.

As of 09:35 on 28 August 2025, the permanent population of the Republic of Uzbekistan stood at 38,000,000 people.

Of these:

Men — 19,136,800

Women — 18,863,200

Uzbekistan’s male population exceeds the female population by 273,600.
