The agricultural sector is crucial to the economy of Mingbulok district of Namangan Region. In addition to cotton, grains, and melons, rice is also grown in the fields. The heavy reliance on manual labor for seedling production and care has recently led to a significant decline in rice paddies.

Cooperation with South Korea's Buyeo has greatly contributed to the region's rice cultivation development. For the past two years, there has been an ongoing exchange of ideas with Korean specialists on producing quality seeds and utilizing modern agricultural machinery in fieldwork.

It is known that rice yield depends on the successful planting of seedlings, which can be achieved by either sowing seeds or transplanting germinated seeds into well-prepared soil. For workers in the industry, the second method is convenient from all perspectives. Currently, rice seedlings are being planted in Mingbulok using a special machine produced in Korea.

A laboratory established by Korean experts on the "Momokhon oltin zamin dalasi" farm is equipped with all necessary equipment. 600 kilograms of premium seeds from the "Alanga" and "Iskandar" varieties were sown and successfully germinated in a designated area. The "Yanmar" rice seedling machine was used to plant seedlings in an 11-hectare of thoroughly irrigated field.

“Yanmar machine is highly productive," says Dilnoza Hamdamova, head of the farm. “With its help, we can plant seedlings on 4 hectares in a single day. With this machine, we can plant seedlings on 4 hectares in a single day. In contrast, using traditional methods would require 50 workers to manage just one hectare in a day, constantly wading through waterlogged fields.

The farmer is optimistic about the results of the ongoing trials. By applying the expertise of Korean partners, the yield per hectare has increased significantly by 20 centners, now exceeding 80 centners.
