Uzbek chess player becomes world chess champion
The World Championship in classical chess among players with disabilities, held in Belgrade, Serbia, has ended.
Marsel Shayusupov became the champion in the classical chess game competitions at this world championship. Another compatriot, Sardor Turgunboev, secured 3rd place in the same category, as reported by UzChess.
"Marcel, recognized as the world's best in classical chess, also competed in the blitz competition and won a bronze medal," stated the message.
Earlier, we reported that Nodirbek Abdusattorov earned nearly 200 million UZS in a competition in Romania.
