“112” Unified dispatch service now fully operational across Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan has fully launched the “112” unified dispatch service across all regions, aiming to enhance emergency response efficiency. The Ministry of Digital Technologies confirmed the nationwide rollout.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev first proposed the initiative in July 2023 during a meeting in Fergana, directing the Ministries of Internal Affairs and Digital Technologies to implement “112,” a single emergency number and dispatch system. Following a Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, the service was introduced in stages.
According to the resolution, the service was intended to be launched in Tashkent city and the Tashkent region on June 1, 2024; in the Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions in the first half of 2024; and in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and other regions by the end of 2024.
The “112” unified dispatch service integrates multiple emergency response services, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, ambulance services, social protection agencies, and Hududgaztaʼminot JSC. It serves as a single platform for receiving and processing public emergency calls.
